Stargayzer Festival: Friday Preview

The last time I got my hair done, the nice man who does my roots went over the Stargayzer festival schedule with me. After all, it’s Austin and he and I have talked about South By Southwest acts and what we plan on seeing at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. My hair has three colors in it, so all that color work leaves some time to chat!

Mr. Smith –who is way more into hip hop than me– told me about the hip-hop duo Yo! Majesty, who are playing Stargayzer on Friday at 7:15. I’ve never seen them, but they do seem fun!

And did I tell you how excited I am about seeing Peaches Christ? She’s hosting Stargayzer on Friday!

When I asked San Fransisco drag artist Hi Coloni Anderson about Peaches Christ–an artist she has seen several times–she had nothing but fab things to say about her!

“Peaches is fabulous! Midnight movie queen a la Elvira who produces wonderful pre-shows” Coloni told me in a text message.

I also have high hopes for The Crystal Ark, who are playing Stargayzer at 8:15 on Friday night.
