Through little advance planning–and a tipoff from a European music industry pal–I managed to catch Temples TWICE during South By Southwest 2014. I’m super-excited to be seeing them again at Austin Psych Fest!
Their swirley sound –made by British dudes in glittery eyeliner–is all that is right with my world! “Sixties glam rock with a dash of eastern psychedelia” is how they are described on the website for the Latvian music festival Positivus, where they are on the lineup for this summer!
Tonight (Saturday May 3) Temples play Austin Psych Fest at 8:15 p.m. on the REVERBERATION STAGE!
