Looking Forward to Binge Watching Tabula Rasa

With binge watching being a thing, finding a new binge watching series is the kind of thing that’s worth celebrating. Unfortunately they are still busy in Belgium making my new favorite binge -worthy television series, the fabulous and dark Tabula Rasa that I found at Fantastic Fest. It’s a story told in two times

Mia (Veerle Baetens) is locked in a mental asylum, as Someone is missing, and she is the prime suspect.

However this happens following a rearrangement of her life following a car accident where she looses the ability to form new memories.

Three months leading up to Mia’s time in the asylum are also told in flashback:

The story covers Mia moving into her grandfather’s house as the result of burning down hers. The house has a flooded basement (a bonus with the creepy old house the series was actually shooting in). A mirror breaks, strange hunters are close by.

The series is still shooting in Belgium, is showing there starting Halloween. Here’s hoping that it gets distribution in the US!
