Satanic Panic at the Highball
I’m all for bar games, but the new “Satanic Panic” room at the Highball in Austin, Texas may be a bit too far.
Unveiled as part of Fantastic Fest, the room will be continue to be open to the public nights and weekends thru October.
Teams (or groups of people willing to be sacrificed together) must be in groups of 4—no more, no less.
From the press release:
Packs of four players will be cloaked in ritual garb, blindfolded, and led to a dimly lit chamber. There they’ll be shackled and given 45 minutes to solve a series of exciting, innovative and demonically difficult puzzles in a room steeped in Satanic cult atmosphere.
I don’t know about you, but that escape room speaks to every single one of my trigger issues. However, your idea of a good time—and willingness to be “sacrificed to the dark lord” if you don’t complete the task may be far different than mine!
h/t the 80s.
