Lazer Team Excitement
When I went to the Lazer Team world premiere at Fantastic Fest, I was lucky enough to be able to shoot some pictures on the red carpet, and to be there for the excitement of 13 year-old Lily Wheaton, who had one of the best fan reactions to a film that I’ve ever seen in person!

Lazer Team is the story of four regular dudes who are called upon to defend the Earth after putting on bits of a space suit after they manage to accidentally intercept a UFO during a night out. It stars Burnie Burns, Gavin Free, Michael Jones, Colton Dunn, Allie DeBerry, and Alan Ritchson.
As you might guess from Wheaton’s reaction, Lazer Team is a perfect movie for the middle school and high school age group. It’s got enough suggestive jokes to keep everyone’s interest, but the overall story is family-friendly and positive.
Lazer Team was produced by Austin’s Rooster Teeth Productions, who raised over 2.4 million dollars in an Indiegogo campaign.
