Whoa, my Flickr Account Has Over a Million Views!

I’ve been taking photographs for many years. I literally have film negatives stored in a cheap bank vault box ($22 bucks a year!) in case there was ever a fire at my house. (Although if I were more serious, I’d keep them in the freezer!)

When digital times came along, I moved my back catalog storage to Flickr, using it for storage and resizing. I didn’t care that anyone else was looking at my pictures of barns and trees and indie-pop bands, I just didn’t think they’d bother. I was surprised to learn people cared.
