SXSW Music Is Getting Closer!
Every day brings more South By Southwest announcements, artists and houseguests for our Austin sofa. Pretty soon I’m going to run out of sofa’s, air mattresses and spare towels for all the extra people temporarily expanding my household! One year I had SEVEN Latvian houseguests for SXSW after I had just gotten out of the hospital, so I know I can handle anything.
Of all the announced things*, I’m most excited about Courtney Barnett playing her not yet released album at the NPR showcase.
I’m not a food person, but this food/ music mixer with food from Paul Qui looks like it might be pretty awesome, especially if you are from out of town and don’t eat Qui’s cooking very often.
This panel with the underage band “Unlocking the Truth” could be really cool. Don’t you want to know what it’s like being a 13 year-old rock star? I know I do!
I also might go to this panel on interviews, even though I seldom interview anyone who doesn’t want to talk to me! It never hurts to up your interview game!
