Election Day Signs At My House

I’m very lucky that this election features TWO people I know running for Austin City Council, in two different districts. That means I have TWO different signs hung up, one in the front, and one in the back!

Jason Meeker, who is running for Austin City Council, District 10, is a friend of mine from college. He’s thoughtful, compassionate and devoted to his causes. I’m really glad that I got to vote for him during early voting! Check out his website here.

I’ve known Katrina Daniel who is running for Austin City Council, District 4 even longer, as we went to La Porte High School together. She’s been an organized and kind person since before she was old enough to drive. She also has a website. Since Daniel isn’t running in my district, I didn’t get to vote for her. However, one contender in Daniel’s district has had a lot of controversy.

Don’t forget to go vote today, even if you don’t have the chance to go vote for my friends!
