Depeche Mode Will Be in Austin this Weekend, and I’m Super Excited!

I might be a grown-up, but it’s hard not to think about the fact that the band Depeche Mode will be in Austin this weekend, at that big music festival in Zilker Park.

For the last few weeks, I’ve seen friends posting pictures from when they’ve gone to see Depeche Mode, and read the odd review about the tour.

If you missed it, this is the column I wrote about Depeche Mode during SXSW 2013.

Below are some of the pictures I took during Depeche Mode’s SXSW interview, a picture of the badge line where I listened to their entire show from outside the venue (I was third in line when their SXSW set finished, and yes, they sounded pretty good from outside, with the badge line singing along with their classics!) There’s even a picture of the Depeche Mode bar in Tallinn, Estonia that was mentioned during the SXSW interview.
