Tin Hau Temple, Hong Kong
I was in Hong Kong for the first time this past August with a friend who had to go there for work. I was totally surprised to find out how much I liked the place! This is one of the figures at one of the many Tin Hau temples in Hong Kong.
The only thing I could think of when I saw this statue was the Pixies’ lyric, “and the lower god controls the sea….”
