Eating at Tim Ho Wan In Hong Kong!
When my traveling companion and I first heard about “the world’s cheapest 4 Michelin Star” place, we figured that at the worst, the place would be cheap, and that we probally wouldn’t die of food poienning.
We totally under-estimated the place.
After taking the subway to Kowloon, we were pleased to fineally find the place.
It wasn’t hard–it was the place with the crowd gathered around the door!
We got a paper selection menu from the woman running the door, and selected more food than we might want to eat!
We even ordered the chicken feet, figuring, “when in Rome” or in this case,”When In Hong Kong!”It was totally the right thing to do!
Eventually, we were seated halfway inside the kitchen, where the most amazing steamed buns were set before us!
It was amazing–if we had only known the proper technique for eating chicken feet (put them in your mouth, roll them around, spit out the bones) we would’ve eaten every morsel.
We really wanted to go back for another dinner, but who has time to spend a couple of hours waiting on the street more than once a week?
But the food was amazing!
